1994年毕业与法国Aix-Marseille大学,获硕士学位。1996年至2000年,英国伦敦大学环境研究中心,获博士学位。2001年-2003年,英国伦敦大学环境研究中心工作。2004年至今,在中国科学院地质与地球物理研究所工作。
