研究员、博士生导师，国家杰出青年基金获得者。目前被聘为《Computers & Geosciences》副主编和《Spatial Statistics》编委和《地球信息科学学报》编委，入选国际空间精度学会科学指导委员会。兼任中国地理学会地理信息分析专业委员会副主任委员，中国自然资源学会资源制图委员会副主任委员，中国空间统计学会常务理事。
