简历介绍:

翟巍巍,男,博士,研究员,博士生导师,中国科学院动物所进化与群体基因组学研究组组长。中组部第14批青年千人入选者。2002年毕业于中国科学技术大学生物系,先后在2004和2008年从美国康奈尔大学和加州大学伯克利分校取得生物统计的硕士和群体遗传学博士。2009年6月回到中国科学院北京基因组研究所工作(任副研究员)。2013年9月到2018年6月,在新加坡基因组研究所工作(PI)。2018.6 到中国科学院动物研究所工作,主要从事群体遗传学,细胞的种群遗传学以及癌症基因组学,分子进化等研究方向上的研究。

研究方向:

1. 检测适应性进化的方法学 在分子进化研究里,如何在大规模重测序序列(n>1000)的基础上检测适应性进化是领域面临的一个重要的科学问题。常见的密码子模型对于小规模的数据(n<100)有了比较好的模型方法,如何在大规模的时间序列的数据上检测适应性进化成为领域的一个难点。从2002年开始,我们一直致力于发展一个基于随机取样的统计学模型(Nielsen 2002),能对适应性进化的动态规律做系统的检测和描绘(Zhai et al 2007, Chen et al 2016 and 2019)。 2. 细胞群体遗传学和肿瘤基因组学 细胞群体遗传学是一个新兴的交叉学科。它以多细胞物种里的细胞为研究对象,研究细胞群体进化的动态规律。从2009年开始,我们以肝癌和肺癌细胞群体为研究对象,研究细胞群体的异质性和进化规律 (Tao et al 2009, Hu et al 2013, Zhai et al 2017, Nahar*, Zhai* and Zhang* et al 2018),阐述适应性进化对细胞群体进化以及疾病发展的推动作用。这个研究方向既有面向进化生物学的基础研究,又有面向临床科学问题的转化研究。 3.面向自然物种的群体遗传学 从研究生开始,我一直关注包括人在内的自然种群的演化规律,特别是对物种演化历史以及适应性进化特别感兴趣。 这个研究方向涉猎了人(例如尼安德特人的起源进化Green et al 2010), 驯化物种(例如家犬 Wang*, Zhai* et al 2013, Wang*, Zhai*, Yang* and Wang* et al 2016)。在动物所的研究,我们将探索新的模式生物体系,继续拓展群体遗传学的研究。
